A Pitbull's New Year's Resolution

How is everyone doing? My pitbull Motley and I are doing great now that the snow has melted down so we can get back to work and visiting friends/dog pals. Hope all of yall had a great Christmas!
As the new year approaches, what is the first thing people start bringing up? A lot of the time its how they can improve on their accomplishments from the previous year or as everyone says, a New Year's resolution. Motley and I got to thinking about this topic and we both had a few ideas for our own New Year's resolution for upcoming 2011. Some of my ptibull's suggestions included not ripping up his dad's pillows, taking shoes or hats, and improving his walks with dad. Some of my(dad) resolutions were to increase Motley's walk lengths and take him on more outdoor trips such as camping, hiking, and fishing. What about all of you? Are yall going to make resolutions to improve the relationship of you and your pitbull or any other pet you might have? I thoroughly encourage it because it will better both of yall's relationships. I hope I could spark a little interest in discussion haha. The New Year is coming soon! Motley I hope everyone makes it their BEST year yet!!

Pitbull's Holiday Greeting

Dashing throught the snow, in a one horse open sleigh, all the feilds we go, laughing all the way HA HA HA

To start off, I hope everyone had a very, very Merry Christmas this year! If you live on the east coast like my pitbull and I you probably got to see a white Christmas for once. Motley enjoyed it to the max, if I do say so myself. It was actually the third worst snowfall in our region's history, topping out at 16 inches in some areas.
To begin our Christmas Day, Motley had to be the first one down the stairs and into the living room to see the presents. Just like a little kid, he went from present to present trying to find out which ones were his. It was quite a sight to see my pitbull get to open his presents or help us open ours Ha.
After the presents, it was then on to the SNOWWWW! I've never seen a dog, yet alone a pitbull, enjoy the snow as much as Motley does. He could totally be a sledding dog in Alaska if you ask me!

It was funny actaully watching Motley play in the snow because at times he looked like he was bobbing for apples and would come up looking like Santa Claus. I had to tell him that pitbulls DON'T like yellow snow though! He seemed quite intrested in that at first, unfortunately.

It was an awesome experience that barely ever happens in our beach area, so my pitbull took as much advantage of it as possible! Once again I hope everyone had a great Christmas and are getting ready for your New Years festivities. Motley and I will be checking out the USF(South Florida) vs Clemson Bowl Game to check out our hometown athlete and friend, Kevin Gidrey. The game is at 12 noon on the 31. Check him out if you get a chance. Motley and I want to wish you all a fabulous New Year and thanks for checking us out!

Real Pitbull Behaviors

Once you get through the first section of the clip, you really get to see what most pitbull owners actually get to experience with their pitbulls. I hope the clip sheds a glimse of light on how most pitbulls actually act instead of the bad publicity they always get. Hope yall enjoy the clip!!

Pitbull Snowball Fight

Whuddup to all my pitbull lovers!! Hope everyone has had a great day and enjoyed their start to the holiday season. We've already started the decorating process. It always seems to get here much quicker than expected. Motley also wants to wish you all a great holiday season and a New Year!

As I said in the previous post, we are actually getting snow here in Virginia Beach, Va, so Motley and I got to have a lot of fun today!! We went out for one of our daily walks and came back home for a little game of tag and a pitbull snowball fight. That actually means me throwing a lot of snow at Motley. Haha For some reason he actually enjoyed the snow more than me and stayed out to play in it for another thirty minutes before getting too cold and wanting to come in. Here are some pics of our game of tag in the snow!

He can't get me Haha

This Pitbull's BACK

Hey Guys!! Before I start I want to apologize for not having the chance to post in the past month. Motley decided he wanted to play with my laptop and it didnt turn out to good for my laptop! Haha I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and a great start to the holiday season. It's actually snowing here in Virginia Beach which is always fun because it never snows here so when I'm done here my pitty and I will be playing!
I'll be posting pictures shortly from over the holidays of Motley and all his interactions with his pitbull friends, family, and new friends.
Stay tuned and I hope you enjoy. Leave us some comments, Motley loves meeting new pitbulls to play with!!
